Child safety standards

Thoella has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.

These are the published Thoella standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They describe what is prohibited, how Thoella prevents this material, how anyone can report it, what enforcement follows, and how confirmed cases are reported to the competent authorities.

1

CSAE material is prohibited on every Thoella surface.

2

Anyone can report it in the app or by email.

3

Confirmed accounts are terminated permanently.

4

Cases are reported to the competent authorities.

Prohibited conduct

Child sexual abuse and exploitation is never permitted, in any form, on any Thoella surface.

This applies to human, sponsored, and AI-generated content alike, and to private, shared, and public spaces. It covers text, images, video, audio, links, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, skill files, agent prompts, and generated assets.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Uploading, storing, sharing, linking to, requesting, or generating any image, video, audio, text, or synthetic media that sexually exploits or abuses a minor. This includes AI-generated, edited, drawn, or otherwise computer-created material.

Sexualization of minors

Any content or prompt that presents a minor in a sexualized way, describes a minor in sexual terms, or asks a Thoella agent, chat, channel, or automation to produce such material.

Grooming and solicitation

Contacting or attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes, building trust with a minor for sexual exploitation, or soliciting sexual content, contact, or a meeting with a minor.

Sextortion and coercion

Threatening to expose intimate content of a minor, or coercing a minor into producing sexual content, payments, or further contact.

Trafficking and advertising

Advertising, offering, recruiting, or arranging the sexual exploitation of a minor, and trading in access to such material or to a child for these purposes.

Facilitating CSAE

Providing instructions, evasion techniques, off-platform links, coded terminology, or any other support intended to enable child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Prevention

How Thoella is built to keep this material off the platform.

Thoella is not a service for children

Thoella is a general-purpose AI workspace built for adult personal, study, work, and community use. It is not directed to children, and accounts require the minimum age set by the applicable app store listing and by the law of the user country.

Sexual content is prohibited on public surfaces

Nudity, sexualized visual content, and real-world graphic violence are already banned across every public Thoella surface, including channels, Pulse, boosted posts, advertisements, public profiles, and public templates. This removes the categories in which CSAE material most often appears.

AI agents refuse this material

Thoella agents, channel automations, and generated media are governed by platform rules that forbid the creation of sexual content involving minors. Attempts to obtain such output through an agent, a skill file, or an automation are treated as a violation of these standards.

Accountable moderation on shared spaces

Public channels and Pulse operate an accountable report-and-enforce workflow. Reports are recorded with their target, reason, timestamp, and audit trail so that moderators and the Thoella safety contact can act and be reviewed.

Reporting

How to report suspected child sexual abuse material or a child safety concern.

Reports can be made by any user, and by anyone outside Thoella, without an account.

Report inside the app

Every channel post and every Pulse post carries a report action. Choose the reason that matches what you saw and add details in the free-text field so the review team can act quickly. Child safety reports are escalated ahead of the ordinary moderation queue.

Report by email

Email contact@thoella.com with "Child safety" in the subject line. This reaches the designated Thoella child safety contact, who is able to speak about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance. Include links, usernames, and timestamps where you can.

Never forward the material

Do not attach, re-upload, or forward suspected child sexual abuse material to us or to anyone else. Send links, identifiers, and a description only. Possessing or transmitting this material is a criminal offence in most countries.

Contact law enforcement in an emergency

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number and law enforcement first. Reporting to Thoella does not replace a report to the competent authorities.

Enforcement and legal reporting

What happens after a child safety report reaches Thoella.

Immediate removal

Credible child safety reports lead to immediate removal or hiding of the reported content while the case is reviewed. Nothing is left published pending a slower process.

Permanent account termination

Accounts confirmed to have produced, requested, shared, or facilitated CSAE material are terminated permanently. This is not a warning-based category, and there is no repeat-offence threshold before enforcement.

Preservation of evidence

Relevant account records, report metadata, and audit evidence are preserved for the period required to support an investigation, and are disclosed to the competent authority through lawful process.

Reporting to authorities

Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the competent national authority under the applicable law, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline where the case has a United States connection. Thoella cooperates with lawful requests from law enforcement in these cases.

Contact and governance

Who owns these standards and how they are kept current.

Policy version: thoella-child-safety-standards-v1, effective 2026-08-27.

Owner: AGIMetis, the publisher of Thoella, with a designated child safety contact reachable at contact@thoella.com.

These standards apply to every Thoella surface: chats, group chats, agents, generated media, channels, Pulse, Discover, promotions, and advertisements.

The standards are reviewed at least annually and whenever a product change affects public content, media upload, or agent-generated output.

A change that would weaken any commitment on this page requires a policy review and an updated store declaration before release.
